Countdown to Graduation
Summer will soon be coming to an end and many kids are headed back to school. As for my kids they have been back to school a few weeks now and they are pretty much back into routine. Both my kids have homework everyday and I love hearing about their days.
Not only are kids back to school, but my final semester at Wilm U begins in a couple of weeks. I am both excited and anxious for the semester to start. This semester I will be taking my final courses and with a little luck my 15 weeks will go by quickly.
One thing, that has me excited about this semester is my internship. I have already secured a location and have actually started interning at one of the local papers. In July, I went and met the staff at the Mebane Enterprise and I immediately knew this was the place I wanted to do my internship. The staff is awesome and made me feel welcomed. I have completed my first week there and enjoy going there.
As for my other two courses I am not really thrilled about doing them. I am taking a Software Development & Design course along with a Statistics math course. Both are required for graduation. The anxiety is real and if doing 300 hours of internship isn't enough lets add a full semester of math to the equation.
Overall, there is something to be excited about. Graduation! There is a light at the end of the tunnel and I know I have worked hard to get this far. If you would have asked me 4 and a half years ago if I would be getting my Bachelors I might have laughed at you. Now I just embrace it and roll with the punches.
The countdown to the end of the semester has begun!
Until Next Time!
