What I am thankful for

As Thanksgiving approaches I realize that I have so much to be thankful for. This year has been quite the roller coaster, but despite it all I am thankful for every mistake and lesson learned. Everything that went right or wrong. I know I should be thankful for things in my life everyday and I am, but today I want to share them with you.

What am I thankful for?
My husband-despite our crazy and wild arguments he chooses to married to me still. I know I can be a difficult person to live with.

My two beautiful daughters- they are the reason I wake-up every morning, the reason I breathe, and my motivation to keep going. They are both my miracle children after 3 miscarriages.

My mother- for constantly checking up on her 29 year-old daughter because she cares so much about what happens in my life.

My siblings- for allowing me to take the blame for all their craziness as kids. Ya'll were a bunch of badasses. But I love you anyway.

My friends- for being there for me when I needed advice about silly things. And I believe you truly get me. You're the peanut to my jelly.

My health- because other people have it worse than I do. Suddenly Hypothyroidism doesn't seem so bad.

After four years my brother will be spending Thanksgiving with us. I told you bro!! There's no escaping Delaware, but glad you left Upstate New York. P.S Boston is better!!!!

My nephew- because I love him the way I love my own children. I love and miss you Kaleb. Titi cant wait to see you at Christmas.

Personally, I have recently a great opportunity was offered to me and I am so excited for it. Thank you to my advisors on campus for supporting me. And lastly, I am happy to announce my one of my brothers and his girlfriend are expecting their first child together. I am so excited to have another baby to spoil.  A roof over my head and food on my table. No matter how bad it is someone has it worse.

There's so much more I can mention, but I feel that I'd be here all day. My life isn't perfect, but it's perfect for me and for that I am grateful.

Hope ya'll have a great Thanksgiving.
Until next time.

Samantha Jan
