Sundays = NFL

From the pre-season to the Superbowl you can find me in front of the television on Sundays. Now sometimes you can catch me on a Monday or Thursday night cheering loud and proud for my favorite team. I do mean yelling and screaming at the television screen. Cussing at the refs as if they can hear me. Trust me....it gets pretty intense at my house during game day.

That brings me to my next point...Yes, I am a woman! Yes, I love football and yes, I am a New England Patriots fan. As a fan I've endured so much criticism about being a Pats fan. I feel immune to all the hate.  Sometimes it gets to me, but I have learned to "toughin up." I always laugh at all the jokes people make especially at the recent "DeflateGate" nonsense.  Like get the hell over yourself...The Patriots do not need to cheat, they are JUST THAT DAMN GOOD!!!! So to all the haters thanks for making me a more dedicated fan.

I am always plagued with the who was the QB before Brady? How long have you been a fan? You're not even from Boston why are you a fan? If you most really know...Drew Bledsoe Quarterback for eight seasons. Oh and here's the kicker Bledsoe was injured and his Rookie QB Tom Brady led the Patriots to the Superbowl and won!!! Next...Why does it matter how long I've been a fan.. Let's see I'm 29 take away nine years gives you 20. So buzz off. Next I don't have to be from Boston to be a Patriots fan. I didn't know there was a rule about living a certain place to be a fan of a certain team. Didn't think so sweetheart! (In my Boston Accent).

Here's what I think...
This year I have a feeling that the Patriots will reach the Superbowl. I can careless what others say, the fact of the matter is the NFL has pissed Tom Brady off and he is coming back with a vengeance. This isn't the first time either.Talk all the shit you want about the Patriots and Tom Brady 31 other teams should be very afraid of Brady. I can bet you they'll get very far this season.

Moving forward... being a dedicated fan means prepping for game day.  Many fans tail gate.  Yeah I tail gate right in my living room.So what's on my menu?  You know the typical not so good for you food. Wings,  pizza,  mozzarella sticks,  French fries,  burgers.  Just depends on my mood.  A huge contributor to cooking goes to my husband.  He's the fried food master.

So what are some of my game day superstitions?
1. I don't trash talk other teams before we play them.
2. I don't usually allow non-pats fan watch the game at my house.
3. I avoid answering my cellphone or texting people.  Unless it's related to the game.
4. I wear at least one article of clothing that says Patriots to support my team.

I take football season very seriously. My daughters were born into this.  And naturally are Patriots fans.  As for my two brother's one a Ravens fan and another is a Steelers fan.  They have both tried to convert my kids. I wish them luck with that.

Since I am 100 percent sure the Patriots will kick ass this season.... and I don't want to jinx it, but Brady and Bunch will be undefeated. If not the Pats will be 12-4 for the season. They will take the AFC championship and will make it to the Superbowl.

I end with this no matter what team you love and support its only a game.  And sometimes we lose some sometimes we win some, but at the end of the day.  We are fans.  And we should respect each other.

Until next time!!
